A secret baby, an impossible request, and a chance encounter that turns their lives around.
Ryan Beckheim is finally starting to get over the tragic death of his parents. After years of running from his grief, he’s back and working hard to take over the family business. The last thing he’s looking for is a serious relationship. But his grandfather has other plans and he isn’t beyond a little friendly blackmail.
Sarah Jones is trying to come to terms with the fact that she’s pregnant, had to give up on grad school, and got kicked out by her mother. With the help of a kind aunt, she’s determined to rebuild her life and embrace single motherhood.
When Ryan and Sarah bump into each other on Palmar Island, neither of them realizes that they are the perfect solution to each other's problems… if they can learn to trust and open their hearts, which may just take a little Christmas miracle.
An Heir For Christmas is a 25,000 word sweet romance novella with no cliff hangers and a HEA. It's book one in the Christmas on Palmar Island series.
The novelette is really a sweet romance story, very well written. I liked the gradual way in which the characters discover what they want and their strength and determination to go for it. The book is a breath of fresh air from all the steamy reads, a lovely romance with focus on the heart’s desires.
